CKL Plays (Modern) UWish [Bant Control]

This time, Corey takes Francesco Neo Amati’s Bant Control deck, “UWish” for a test drive through some Modern Two-Man Queues.  The deck, which was inspired by, and evolved from, Benny Hill’s UW Control deck (click for article), includes Glittering Wish and a diverse menu of multi-colored cards in the “Wishboard” to address UW’s deficiencies in its most difficult match-ups.

The three primary three Wishboard targets-Geist of Saint Traft, Supreme Verdict, Meddling Mage.

Francesco, who designed this particular version of the deck, has written a number of informative pieces on the development and strategy behind UWish.  For those resources, use the following links:

Tokens?

We’re giving away tokens!  This double-sided CKL token features a 4/4 Angel (for Geist of Saint Traft or Entreat the Angels) on one side and a generic Samurai token on the other.  Original art by Roberto Rivera.

For a chance to win, simply subscribe to the Card Knock Life Youtube channel and/or follow us on our Facebook page.  That’s it!  We’ll pick one lucky winner from each spot on our next podcast in January and ship 3 copies of the token free of charge to your doorstep.
